Shop Online and Raise Money!
Have you heard about easyfundraising yet? It’s the easiest way to help raise money for Wellow Under Fives Pre-School - Romsey! If you already shop online with retailers such as Amazon, M&S, Argos, John Lewis, Comet, Vodafone, eBay, Boden and Play.com, then we need you to sign up for free to raise money while you shop!
So how does it work?
You shop directly with the retailer as you would normally, but if you sign up to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/wellowu5s for free and use the links on the easyfundraising site to take you to the retailer, then a percentage of whatever you spend comes directly to us at no extra cost to yourself.
How much can you raise?
Spend £100 with M&S online or Amazon and you raise £2.50 for us. £100 with WH Smith puts £2.00 in our pocket and so on. There's over 2,000 retailers on their site, and some of the donations can be as much as 15% of your purchase.

Many thanks to all of you for my lovely leaving gifts.
I have really enjoyed looking back at all the old photos of all the children who I have been a key worker to; it’s such a lovely memento of my time at Wellow Under Fives.
The flowers are beautiful and I will probably buy a new vase with the John Lewis vouchers.
I would also like to take this opportunity to personally thank all the parents and Committee members for all of their support over the past years, without your continued support Wellow Under Fives would not be the success it is today!
I feel overwhelmed by the generosity of you all!

Tuesday 8 February 2011 - New Chairperson
Wellow Under Fives Management Committee welcomed Lucy Sheffield as it's new Chairperson last night, to replace Karen Douch. Lucy has a wealth of experience and two lovely daughters and she will certainly bring lots of exciting ideas to the group.

Friday 10 December 2010 - Christmas Fair
Well done to all the children for performing the Christmas Carols so well yesterday and a big thank you to all the families who came to the Fair.
Wednesday 24 November 2010 - Christmas Crafts at Wellow School
On Monday the older children were invited to join the Wellow School reception class for a morning of christmas crafts. Handmade crackers and sparkly christmas trees were just two examples of the work that was done. The visit was enjoyed by children and staff and we thank the school and Mrs Robinson in particular for organising it.
We are looking forward to a visit to see the school children rehearse their Christmas nativity in the coming weeks.
Saturday 25 September 2010 - £300 Award
Huge thanks to Julie Gilson (our fantastic Bookings Clerk) for obtaining a £300 award for Wellow Under Fives from her place of work: NATS air traffic management based in Fareham.
The money will buy a great new mat for the children to sit on at registration.
Monday 20 September 2010 - School Admissions
The closing date for applying for school admissions is Saturday 15th January.

Tuesday 7 September 2010 - Welcome Back
Welcome back to preschool.
There are a few changes this term including a new uniform for the staff and some great new toys for the children purchased thanks to last year's fundraising efforts.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended our Summer BBQ on Sunday. The afternoon was a great success raising over £500 to put towards some new equipment for preschool.

Monday 25 July 2011 - Summer BBQ and End of Term
Thanks to everyone who attended the BBQ and Fair on Sunday, it was enjoyed by all.
Thanks also to our Committee, chaired by Lucy Sheffield for organising such an excellent event and for the great send off given to Jackie and Sarah.
It's all change in September as our new Supervisor Michelle Beer joins us with a host of fresh ideas and a new direction for the preschool.
The children will enjoy their last preschool session tomorrow, with a leavers' party in the afternoon for those children starting school in September.

Thanks to a generous donation from a leaver's parents and our fundraising efforts the group has recently purchased a lovely new water tray and ordered some fabulous aprons to keep all the little monkeys dry!

The staff and committee at Wellow Under Fives are very pleased to have been awarded a Hampshire County Council Sure Start sustainability grant to ensure the group can weather the funding changes and release some money from our fundraising efforts for staff and equipment.

Monday 8 March 2010 - Fashion Show Success
Huge thanks to everyone in the village who came to support us at our Fashion Show on Friday 5th March.
Thanks also to our 6 fabulous models, Romsey Florist Judy Webb, Clarins and Estee Lauder from Bradbeers and Paul Light Hairdressing without whom the evening would not have been possible.
We are very pleased to have raised over £1200 for Wellow Under Fives.

Saturday 5 December 2009 - Let's Make Music at Jelly Tots
Starting on Monday 7th December, Jelly Tots will be hosting “Let’s Make Music”. It will run from 9.45 – 11.15am and incorporate our usual snack time.
There will be singing, craft activities, rhymes and carols suitable from 0+. It is totally free and will run for 8 weeks, there is no need to book as it will form part of the normal session.
Friday 4 December 2009 - Aroma Evening Success!
Thank you very much to all you lovely ladies who turned up to shop at Aroma last night, it was a great success!
Through ticket sales and lots of shopping we raised £215 for Wellow Under Fives.

Don't forget your child can come in fancy dress this week. They can dress up every day, just one or not at all!
We are asking all parents to donate a bottle of alcohol for our Christmas Fair "Win a Bottle" stall.
